Sports Betting Rules

Introduction

These Betind Sportsbook Rules govern all bets placed on Betind’s wagering platforms, including traditional sports, live in-play markets, virtual events, and esports offerings. They define eligible bet types, minimums and maximums, how odds are displayed and settled, procedures for cancellations and postponements, and how disputes are resolved. The rules apply to customers wherever Betind is legally permitted to operate, subject to applicable local laws and regulatory requirements.

General Rules and Definitions

  • Definitions: An "event" is a scheduled sporting contest or market offered for wagering. A "bet" is a contractual agreement to pay or receive winnings depending on the result of a market. A "market" is a specific bet proposition within an event (for example, winner, total goals, handicap). Settlement refers to determining the final outcome and paying winnings in accordance with these rules.
  • Minimum bet: The minimum stake for any bet is 1 EUR. Bet limits may vary by sport, market, and regulatory jurisdiction; the permissible amount will be displayed at bet time.
  • Odds format: All bets are settled on decimal odds, irrespective of the display format selected by the customer.
  • Single bets and multi-bets: Single bets are supported on individual markets. Bets that combine multiple selections within the same event are generally not accepted unless the Betind Bet Builder or an explicitly sanctioned multi-market feature is used. Mixed-event accumulators or system bets are subject to these rules and any sport-specific provisions.
  • Bet acceptance and timing: Bets are accepted up to the advertised start time of the event. Live (in-play) bets, once accepted, are subject to real-time changes in score and status.
  • Live data and accuracy: Betind relies on official results and data sources. Where official data are unavailable or demonstrably inaccurate, Betind may rely on independent sources or in-house statistics to determine settlements, subject to internal policies.
  • Promotions and offers: Promotional bonuses and offers are governed by separate terms; Promotional terms may apply in addition to these rules.

Bet Acceptance, Validity, and Time of Settlement

  • Bet acceptance: A bet is considered accepted when Betind confirms the bet and the stake is available in the customer’s account. Betind reserves the right to decline any bet at its sole discretion prior to confirmation.
  • Start time and in-play bets: Bets placed on pre-match markets must be placed before the event start time. In-play bets may be placed at any time during the event, subject to market availability and live data integrity.
  • Cash Out: Cash Out is available on selected markets at Betind’s discretion. Where available, Cash Out is subject to its own terms and may be suspended or withdrawn without notice.
  • Winnings and settlement: Winnings are credited to the customer’s account after the final official result is confirmed. Where a market settles to a provisional or intermediary result, Betind reserves the right to adjust the settlement to the final official result once confirmed.
  • Live updates: Betind will endeavour to provide accurate live information, but reserves the right to settle based on the official result even if live data displayed is later revised.

Void, Cancellations, Postponements, and Changes to Markets

  • Abandonment and cancellations: If an event does not conclude within 12 hours of the scheduled start time, all bets on that event are void. If an event is cancelled, all bets are voided unless otherwise stated in sport-specific rules.
  • Postponements: If the start time of an event is postponed by more than 12 hours from the original scheduled time, all bets are voided unless the event resumes and concludes under these rules within a subsequent period defined by Betind.
  • Change of opponents or venue: If the opponent(s) or the venue changes, all bets on the event are voided unless Betind determines otherwise under its internal policies.
  • Change of surface or playing conditions: A change in playing surface generally does not affect the validity of bets already placed, unless Betind expressly states otherwise in sport-specific rules.
  • Misspellings of participant names: Bets stand provided the intended participant is clearly identifiable; Betind may require adjustments if a misspelling makes identification impossible.
  • Price and data errors: Betind does not guarantee the absence of price errors. Where an obvious error occurs in odds or market data, Betind may cancel, correct, or void the affected bets at its sole discretion.

Disputes, Protests, and Evidence

  • Protests: Any claims or protests regarding decisions on bets must be submitted within 7 days after the event’s original start time. Late protests may be denied.
  • Evidence and settlement basis: Settlements are based on official sources. In cases where official data are unavailable or unreliable, Betind may rely on independent sources or internal data to determine outcomes, subject to internal policies.

Dead Heat Rules

A dead heat occurs when two or more competitors share the same finishing position for a winning outcome. In a dead heat, winnings are divided proportionally among the successful bets according to the number of actual winners. If a multi-winner market is affected by a dead heat beyond the last winning position, only the affected contracts participate in the proportionate split.

Settlement, Re-Settlement, and Errors

  • Timing of settlement: Markets are typically settled shortly after the official result is declared. Betind may settle or partially settle markets before the official result in order to assist customers, but reserves the right to adjust settlements if the official result differs or if the event is voided.
  • Regulatory changes and re-settlement: If the official result is revised by a competent authority or if a market is subsequently declared void, Betind may re-settle the market and adjust customer balances accordingly.
  • Mistakes in accepting bets: If Betind discovers a mispricing, technical error, or other mistake in accepting a bet (for example, erroneous odds, incorrect market scope, or mismatched event data), Betind may cancel or adjust the bet before or after the event start.
  • Injury and non-participants: If a participant withdraws or is injured and the market could be significantly affected, Betind may void affected bets, apply a Rule 4 deduction, or revert bets to the next price offered after market revision.

Types of Bets and Market Features

  • Singles: Bets placed on a single market within a single event.
  • Accumulators (Multiples) and Systems: Bets combining multiple selections across events or markets are subject to sport-specific and general rules; Bet Builder is available to construct multi-market bets within Betind’s platform where permitted.
  • Bet Builder: A tool that enables users to assemble bespoke multi-market bets across related events, subject to the terms of these rules and any sport-specific provisions.
  • Special markets and promotions: Betind may offer special markets or promotional terms; those terms govern the applicable bets and may supersede standard rules in the contexts described.

Sport-Specific Provisions (Summary)

  • Football: Settlements are based on regular time unless stated otherwise; additional analysis applies to stoppages, injuries, and card events as provided in sport-specific markets.
  • Tennis: Bets may be settled based on completed sets unless markets specify tiebreaks or alternative structures.
  • Basketball: Regular-season and tournament timings govern settlement unless otherwise stated; overtime and related markets are defined per market rules.
  • Esports and Virtual Sports: Markets are settled according to the official results of the event or game simulation chosen by Betind; virtual markets may have distinct timing rules described in sport-specific sections.
  • Other sports: Betind may publish market-specific rules, which will govern the settlement of those markets where applicable.

Governing Law and Compliance

These rules are governed by applicable laws and regulatory requirements. Betind reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Notices of material changes will be provided in accordance with Betind’s policy and local regulatory obligations. Customers are encouraged to review these rules regularly.
